Mike and Betty have been married for 45 years and have attended all of the TCM Film Festivals. They went to the initial film festival in 2010 and had such a good time that they return every year. They are often accompanied by their sons, John and Kevin along with Kevin's wife Ann. They really embraced their love for classic films when they lived in Palo Alto, CA and went to the Stanford Theater as a family.
Betty and Mike met at Ohio State University on the speech and debate team, marrying after completing their graduate studies in computer science and communication. They’ve traveled to 49 U.S. states and 17 countries. They have lived in Ohio (twice), Texas, Indiana, Missouri, and California (twice). They now live in Pacific Grove near the Monterey Bay Aquarium in a Victorian cottage built in 1890.
